I am an Arab and if somebody asked me who would I consider to be the best Arab leader, I can only think of Bashar Assad and his father. I did not know much about his father when he lived but when I read his interviews, the man was very intelligent. Bashar Assad happens to be the most educated of all the Arab leaders. I like how he tries to make the Christian population of Syria included in their own country. I have zero doubt in my mind that the hostilities against him are based 100% on sectarianism!
