It’s not the truth. Some of the electricity and border-ctossing are under Egyptian control. But since Hamas violent tookover (which was after the Israeli withdrawal) – both Egypt and Israel had tightened their grip over what enters the gaza strip.
If the gazans had the least common sense, their lives would have much better. Look at the West bank, where the Israeli army is still in control – their lives are in a much better shape than in gaza.
