It was the absolute failure and lack of situational awareness, combined with ignorance and arrogance of ideological belief: Of Middle East Superpower/Dominance of the US, which led the Israeli Government to ever more violent clashes and excessive use of force, to oppression of the occupied people, often unnoticed by the US-Allied Government.
It becames a daily injustice in the OPT. With no consequences…
At higher levels of violence and Uprisings, the intervention and acknowledge didn’t wen’t to investigations or prevention of re-occurence, very often impunity granted, for excessive use of military force and violence.
The discrimination and dehumanisation of the occupied people just became more normalised and entrenched in group identity, which just fuelled the flames, the dehumanising never stopped and excessive use of force, was just daily business and became a de-facto: “Rule of Engagement”
The possible contacts between the Occupier and the Occupied people became critical unequal and a “dehumanised new normal”
By desensitizing trough normalisation, of every sense of humanity, inequality of members of the Identity group, there was no real empathy or senses of humanity left, to see as equal and even as worth of living, members of the oppressed occupied group of people. They become suspect individuals…
And the low level of daily dehumanizing incidents, never stopped.
It was the critical Gasoline, for the Powder-Keg at a fireplace in the middle east, which easily could ignite and outburst in new phases of: Violence, Uprising and Excessive use of force, by clashes.
The total lack of humanity, empathy and injustice which the occupied people had to endure on their daily basis of living, was simply unsustainable to keep any of the measures and relationships in a balance, to have security and respect for the humanity of the “Other”established, to be able to Engage and interact, solve conflicts and small disputes, with some empathy, a sense humanity and without a hostile, suspicious or dehumanised discriminatory mindset. Just to unequal – doomed to fail…
By absolutely no attention and situational awareness, get unexpected overwhelmed by surprise, while in belief of absolute control and invincibility, it became a real shock and crisis for Security Apparatus, the Military forces and level of deterrence for the Superpower-Identity of the Security guarantor of the US-Military too.
By absolute no sense of the situational awareness and lack of any sense of empathy and humanity for the: “Attacking group of Forces”
There is just to much shock and awe dynamic at play, which crushed the believed invincibility and status of feared deterrence of the Dominating Superpower, which it shattered too!
It is a doubling effect of insecurity shattered belief of invincibility and impunity, of be in full control of the escalation ladder, of violence and excessive use of force and capability.
It becomes an even more embarrassing and shattering: Shock and Awe moment for the ideological entrenched and in absolute confident of self-belief of full control and total deterrence of the allied “Dominant-Superpower” of the “US-Military and Intelligence”
It crushed it all overwhelmed and left it under the rubble of the shock and awe attack, that no self-control and de-escalatory mechanism is available until the embarrassment, outrage and dehumanised excessive use of force, death and destruction is unleashed, if any moment reoccurs, to come to mind again, by this severe level of inequality, value and dehumanised narrative, normalised violence.
With it’s unleashing of massive amounts of excessive use of force including the escalatory control of capabilities, between the groups of: “Enemy forces” and the vast amounts and multiple times higher capability of the Military-Superpower to use at will.
This level of self confidence, invincibility of deterrence by fear and mass amounts of Firepower, in position after the apocalyptic outrage of: Fire and fury unleashed at the enemy and reestablishing of intelligence and situational awareness, maybe it would not be without a historical mark of embarrassment of inconfidence left on the Identity of the “Dominant-Superpower” in absolute full control.
This little weakness, of lost situational awareness, to get caught by surprise and overwhelmed with shock and awe, from a many times weaker: “Enemy-force” could become an historical unforgotten moment of the “Dominant Military-Superpower”
