They are both wrong, as two stateless people in the geographical area of Palestine, via the 1947 UN Partition Resolution, the opportunity to built two independent states side by side. Jews chose to build an independent state and Arabs chose war and they lost. They chose war several more times and they lost each time.
All the Countries of the Middle East and North Africa with the exception of Israel are signatories to the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights:
