The Ashkenazi are a European people just like the Germans are a European people but if the Ashkenazi hear anybody saying that they are European, they get very nervous, they begin to sweat, their faces turn pink and they become incoherent and the reason is because on the one hand, they would like to deny that they are European but then they understand that they would look ridiculous because everything about them is European and absolutely nothing about them is Middle Eastern. But if they do accept that they are European, then they worry how could they claim Palestine if they are just European? I have to say that not all the money in the world would be worth it to find yourself like the Ashkenazi always getting scared about their identity.
