As I have been reminding people for 50 years, King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, agreed to back the petro dollar when Nixon went off the gold standard. Massive Saudi investment followed. King Faisal, through/with the Arab League, offered full diplomatic recognition of Israel in 1974 if it withdrew to the UNSC Resolution 242 borders (1967) and recognized the Palestinian state. The US didn’t push Israel for that, and Saudi investment in the US plummeted. Saudi Arabia has again stated that the Palestinian state must be recognized. Zion Don may have to backtrack in order to get Saudi investment. If I were the Saudis, I’d tell Trump to go eff himself.
