The Annan proposal of 2004 was rejected by the Greek side in a supposed tactical move. They joined the European Union in a hurry. Since then the Greek side coming up with military agreements with France, Egypt, U.A.E., India and Greece. France establishes a new base on Southern Cyprus. Now I hear Greece will do the same. The British are another matter since they never left since whey back.
