Faith is not a get out of jail card to spread lies. We know the story of Adam and eve is not true. Evolution is what actually happened. Religions that spread confirmed untruths or lies earn the the criticism. If some religion cannot adapt to facts, then they are one’s with the problem not the facts. Faith is also not an excuse to muddle religion and state which inevitably ends up oppressing those of different religions and those with no religion at all
When Christianity took over Europe I would argue it was far more oppressive than Islam today. Today though Islam appear to be the one with the most religious extremists by far. I’m not saying others can’t criticize Jews, but the criticism of extremist Jews relative to Islamists is usually inversely proportional to statistical reality of whom has the most extremists.. In Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia they are still beheading people for apostasy and other alleged blasphemy “crimes”. Many other Islamic majority states have codified religion in the legal systems not in the sense that some ideas came from Islam but in the sense they believe nations should be run by Sharia rather than secular.
