This is what the guy representing Turkey said at the ICJ:
Jews who were oppressed centuries ago in Europe found shelter in Turkey where they were welcomed. The same happened during the Second World War. We have never hesitated to stand with the oppressed regardless of their identity.
I am not sure when exactly was the time frame that you have mentioned at ‘centers ago’? When the European Jews were expelled out of Spain and Portugal, many of them did enter the Muslim countries of Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey. The European Jews are completely alien to the Middle East just like any other other European people. What exactly is the reason that these white Europeans want to come and settle in Muslim country is it something I do not understand.
