Cyprus has allowed UK’s SBA’s for decades which in turn the UK MoD allows undeclared numbers of USAF personnel to operate from them. Although the ERS is HQ’d from Beale AFB, its unofficial operations in Cyprus are critical for supporting short notice regional deployments.
