The Arabs attempted to blackmail the Jews by ethnically cleansing them from the Arab world. The so called Palestinian lobby weaponizes antisemitism all the time by attacking Jewish schools, synagogues and businesses. The logic of the blackmailer is that if you do not do what I say I will attack your relatives.
Giving into blackmail is never a good idea. The blackmailer will always escalate their demands.
The Hebron massacre of Jews in 1929 was very much like Oct 7. Young and old were killed alike. Eyes were gouged out, bodies mutilated and cut into pieces. After the massacre French journalist Albert Londres asked Rageb Nashashi, who was then the mayor of Jerusalem what would happen to all of the Jews of the Mandate once the British left. “They will all be killed”. “You can’t kill all of them. There are 150,000.” To which Nashashibi replied “It will take 2 days”. Members of his council nodded in agreement.
A 10x larger but similar massacre by Palestinians occurred in 1976 in the village of Damour, Lebanon. You probably never heard of it because the victims were Christians. The perpetrators were members of Fatah and the PFLP and were never brought to justice. Because it was Arabs killing Arabs no-one cared, just as no-one cares about 50,000 Christians killed by Boko Haram in Nigeria.
