U.S. education system serves as a filter for the best jobs. By controlling the universities you control the recipients of the best jobs. By acquiring the best jobs you make the most money and acquire the greatest privileges and control the institutions. When you control the institutions you make sure your kind stay ahead. You stay ahead by being the main donors. Being the Secretary of State. Etc. etc.
