The Ottoman government got rid of Ben Gurion and he went to live in New York and there he wrote a book where he said that the Palestinians were not descended from the Arabs of Arabia but they were the descendants of the ancient Jews (of course, he considered himself to be a Hebrew too). He returned to Palestine after the British arrived in Palestine and then he began to say that the Palestinians were the ‘occupants‘ of his country and then he said that he – the land owner – told the occupants that he was willing to share his land with them but the occupants refused.
