The current Gaza war is a costly but necessary prepping of the Israelis for larger and more important conflicts. Although Israel is making progress with cooperation agreements with some of its neighbouring Arabian peninsula nations, it is safe to say that the war torn states of Lebanon, Syria and Yemen are hungry for support and Iran has been throwing them subsistance scraps for twenty to thirty years now. A billion USD is only enough to lubricate the war machine, that is required to defend the Arabian peninsula from wannabee expansionists like pro jihadi Turkiye and mullahian Iran.
