The UNRWA has 30,000 employees. No doubt some of them support terrorist organization Hamas. The cause of humanitarian relief for Palestinians innocents is reasonable but not for any Palestinian supporters of Hamas. You don’t enable terrorists. You arrest or kill terrorists. During WW2 the allies didn’t supply humanitarian aid to feed Gobbles and the guy with the funny mustache. It was only after they surrendered and the war ended did Germany receive aid.
The problem is Hamas would rather see their own people suffer than surrender. There is a compromise to be found though… a vetting of UNRWA staff for Hamas supporters would be a reasonable demand by Israel. If the UN refuses to meet this demand then Israel can hardly be blamed for being hostile towards this organization. The UN has provided diplomatic cover for Hamas for years by refusing to recognize them as terrorists that want to destroy the Jewish state. They have shown no objectivity in the conflict by focusing solely on criticizing Israel.
It’s also important to note that the UN is not an elected government. It’s staff are a bunch of mostly leftist apparatchik that go around the world lecturing nations to support mass illegal migration into their countries. Unrestricted migration would lead to the erasure of everyone’s nations, identities and cultures. The UN claim this as “diversity” and “human rights”. As the mounting global opposition to illegal migration shows, this does not actually represent the will of people around the world/
The UN does have a use as a platform for international disputes and treaties but UN staff themselves are virtue signaling frauds. They claim to speak for democracy then ignore the democratic will of the world’s peoples on the issue of migration..
