In what sense was I incorrect?
Let’s pretend I live in S Africa – how would that be wrong. Everyone has the vote – majority rules. Appalling past but they moved on.
Or, a Kiwi – the Europeans made a treaty with the indigenous and pay what is essentially a rent. They have all integrated and if you’re a Kiwi with three generations of ancestry it’s unlikely they’ll not be a Māori relative.
Or, N Irish Catholic. After centuries of upset they made a deal with the N Irish Protestants, the British and the Irish. They are now technically British and Irish. The Troubles are a thing of the past, they marry each other and there’s no issue.
