Correction:
US is scared of consequences of occupation of Gaza. They know so far Zios lost about 80 Merkava-4 tanks and more than 200 other armored vehicles in their limited ground operations. Which is almost one fourth of their armored inventory, while Gazans haven’t even used their ATGMs yet. They did it with simple locally made unguided RPGs called Yasin-105. Zios also lost hundreds of their best special forces. What would happen if major ground assault is conducted by by Zios in Gaza? Beside that Hezbullah and Ansarollah have threated will will start an all-out war if Zios occupy Gaza. Zios who couldn’t handle couple of thousands of Hamas fighters in surrounded Gaza, are fight all of them at the same time?
On the other hand US bases in Iraq and Syria, are targeted multiple times every day, While US haven’t even responded to any of these attacks. They know if they make any mistake, things get out of control, and they will be kicked out of there with massive casualties and humiliation. If US get kicked out of Iraq and Syria, they cannot sabotage economic growth of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and the rest of the region anymore. They will grow with help from China and the region won’t bow down to West anymore. West would lose control of world energy sources.
We are in an extremely critical moment in history. Gaza is the tipping point of World War between East and West. What happens today, defines the future for many decades.
