It would be interesting to know how that person ended up upon the hood of the vehicle. The metal of the hood probably got pretty hot as well. In the case of a lack of stretchers to allow injured people to lay down, a vehicle hood might work, but precautions should be taken so the injured person does not suffer from the heated hood. In these cases probably some sort of insulated material would be more humane. Hopefully they got him to a medical tent in time to fix’im up.
