Please explain the US Department of State position from 1946 to 1948 – whereby they fully identified with Mandate Power Britain’s 1939 White Paper resolution re-affirming the view:
‘a creation of a separate Jewish state would be contrary: both to the interest and to past promise made, to the-peoples-as-a-whole‘.
I am of course alert to the fact contemporary US Secretary of State Blinken strives endlessly to accommodate Biden’s Presidential myope. Can he be expected to similarly endorse-through-silence, whatever edict a future Presidential Trump may dictate (irrespective the obligation of the USA as a United Nations Organisation Member State, to the International Law)?
We already live in interesting times. The next 8 years are perhaps set to become still more interesting?
