We need a serious and urgent reform of the veto power in Security Council to stop abuse.
When a permanent member of Security Council uses a veto it has to explain thoroughly why it uses a veto. If explanation is unclear, voting is repeated but this time at United Nation General Assembly. A permanent member of UNSC cannot use a veto power for protection of foreign policy of another country, in this case of Israel. It’s an absurd, United States vetoed Palestinian request for UN membership because it supports Israeli land grab of Palestinian territory. Solution through so called negotiations refer to buying time for Israel to make two state solution impossible, because Israel was the side always against the two state solution since 1948.
