Your military claim is ridiculous. The only fighter that can compete with f35 is the superior f22 which the US keep for themselves. A single f35 can probably take out on average 5-10 of any other aircraft due to its low radar profile. Old school dogs fights are a historical relic that never happen today. What actually happens is long range missile fights The first plane to get a radar lock usually wins. And the same applies to bombing land targets too. The f35s are expensive but are very cost effective once you factor in just how deadly they are.
In a theoretical conflict, Turkeys’ upcoming aircraft carrier wouldn’t get a lock as as fast as an f35s can. f35 fire… then go back to base to load up for next sortie.. until a very expensive aircraft carrier is in the bottom of the Med. Rinse and repeat with other targets. Greece couldn’t win a war much less invade Turkey due to the huge manpower advantage Turkey has but it could create a situation where a huge chunk of Turkey’s military is obliterated. creating a stalement. That would be very embarrassing for Turkey given it has 9 times the population of Greece. I imagine any Turkish government that supported such a foolish war would be mercilessly ridiculed by other Turks as incompetent.
Better to focus on trade than war but Greece needs to be ready just in case Erdogan or someone like him tries to attack Greeks like attacks the Kurds.
