Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro:
A young soldier from the air force, a young man from the United States,
he sets himself on fire – horrified, frightened, desperate and in
pain by the massacre and genocide against the Palestinian people, the
sensitivity has reached that point! I really would like, on behalf of all the
people of Venezuela to convey our condolences to the family of this
young soldier in the US, to the American military personnel, to the
American people, and to call upon the conscience of the entire world
to stop this genocide. It cannot be that we have to witness someone’s
self-immolation, a soldier, a young man, to denounce something as
horrific as this genocide.
