I have been saying the Palestinians are doomed for 20 years now. What the Israelis have done to them in Gaza was no surprise to me. I haven’t changed my mind. Unless the US, the only nation that can, forces Israel to grant the Palestinians state,the Palestinians are doomed. It’s now or never.
Israel’s next step will be to incorporate the Palestinians areas into greater Israel. They will “voluntarily” ethnically cleans as many Pals as possible. Israel will PAY poor nations to take them. The Pals that are left will be subjected to re-education.
They will turn the world’s largest open air prison into the world’s largest re-education camp. Israel will shut the door to the possibility of a Palestinian state forever. Palestine will be over. Palestinian culture will meld with and be diluted by the traditions of the new homes across the world.
If what Israel has done in Gaza cannot move the world and the US to force Israel to end their occupation and grant the Palestinians a state…nothing ever will.
Five years from now when all Palestinians are dead or scattered to the wind, broken, and Israel is stomping out the last remnants of Palestinian culture inside thier expanded borders… will people still be saying it wasn’t genocide ?
