While the highest crimes against humanity are committed and the highest courts of international rules based order and UN-Charter ordered compliance, the US Vetoes it. This is the opposite of the mandate of the security council. The blatant disregard of international humanitarian law and the UN-Charter by abusing it’s mechanisms is another low in US diplomatic standing in the world.
The solution to be negotiated between Israel/Palestine for having peace doesn’t lead to anything good in the last 30 years. They just lead to more atrocities and violations of international humanitarian law, this veto used while 2.2 Mio. people are starving, 41.000+ killed, 220 UN workers killed, 95.000+ palestinians in Gaza injured, 10.700+ Palestinians in the Westbank imprisoned by an illegal occupation, is an abuse of the Veto in the Security council, comparable with the use of a WMD.
It is a disgrace.
