Good idea in theory as long as the Palestinians that replaced them are actual moderates. However it won’t work for as long as many Palestinian continue to support Hamas. Another obstacle is Netanyahu continuing to build settlements in disputed areas and refusing to come to the table to hammer out a two-state compromise.
