Who built the 6th century Al Qsa mosque or the even older ancient churches in Jerusalem and the old cities and villages in historic Palestine, if not the ancestors of Christian and Muslim Palestinians.. That they lived provincially or were ruled remotely doesn’t diminish their historical ties to the land.
Jewish Palestinians, who like the non-Jewish Palestinians are indigenous, never left but they were just 10% of the population prior to the mass immigration of European Jewish populations and were happy to live alongside Christians and Muslims prior to the emergence of 19th century Zionist movement.
