Actually several Muslim nations had a surprisingly muted government response to Hamas original attack on Israel. it was only later when Israel responded by going to war did they start to use more hostile language. Granted there were some outliers like Iran but that only hurt their international credibility further by openly supporting indiscriminate attacks against Jewish civilians.
Perhaps that’s what Hamas planned all along. The mass death of Palestinians at Jewish hands in response to try to garner international support since their rampage through Israel had zero chance of military success. It will not play out how you hope though.
I doubt it but maybe an appeal to your more pragmatic side. I don’t think you understand the magnitude of firepower advantage America has. Nearly 1 in 4 dollars spent on military in the world is American. They would level any country that attacked Israel directly. And any nuclear country that is remotely capable of standing up to the US is not going to come to your rescue because they aren’t interested in nuclear suicide. Even if they wanted to help you, when it comes to nationalism most (not all) tend to fall back on national self-preservation first.
At least on a national level no one is coming to your aid when American aircraft carriers are waiting to turn them into protoplasm Not even Iran. A few might yell indignation from afar but many still remember what happened to Iraq after 9/11. You can argue how unfair it is all you wish but it won’t change that strategic reality. Even arguing pro-Hamas here you literally are risking your life.
If you want to go down in flames rather than reach for compromise you will have no one but yourselves to blame. I have little doubt Hamas is about to be permanently wiped out as a political entity in Gaza. Complete banning. Anyone that supports Hamas will either be arrested or killed. Your choice.
