Jews and Christians also used to be called Palestinians prior to the 20th century. It was a geographic not ethnic designation.
Please provide evidence. Let me guess ; you cannot because it is not true but let me tell you that immediately after the Ottoman Empire was not there anymore, the Jews who came to Palestine began to call themselves Palestinians – all the way until 1948 when they began to call themselves Israelis.
