Lol Greek leftists and anarchists to this day terrorize other Greeks. To listen to foreign leftist media, Golden Donkeys represent the biggest threat to Greek democracy. The reality is there are two extremes in Greece our moderate center right party is standing against.. Far right AND far left. And the vast majority of political violence in Greece is conducted by the extreme left. They have yet to discover that democracy means peaceful protest… not going around attacking police and vandalizing other people’s property like savages. George Floyd type riots by leftists in Greece is practically a national sport. (see pompous Marxist vermin Yiannis Varoufakis for a prime example… who aside from endlessly smearing his own country in foreign press also supports Hamas!)
There are exceptions but I rarely consider a a Greek leftist Greek in anything but name. Their real identity is their transnational leftist political cult not Hellenism. They would call anything Greek rendering the term meaningless. To make matters worse they smear the rest of us as “racist” when we disagree with their non-existent definition of Hellenism. They are like cartoon characters. Read the Guardian. That is their definition of “Hellenism”.
Aristotle wisely pointed out word’s have essences. If we change everything it would be like calling a cat a dog. We would be like the former Yugoslavians who put up giant Alexander statues to try to impress people. Hubris not substance.
I support change when it seems to be rational. It would be irrational to parrot Aristotle when he claims the the sun rotates around the earth when we know better today. Aristotle was extremely wise for his era but he was human and as well all know through experience humans make mistakes. And Aristotle would be the first to agree to change our opinions when the empirical evidence warrants it (one of the great things about him)
