AIPAC primaried a New York congressional Democrat Rep who was critical of Israel and called for a ceasefire. They replaced Jaamal Bowman with a moderate Democrat, Latimer, who they hand picked because of his unquestioning support of Israel. The thing is, I don’t know how many Democrats and left-leaning independents will vote for Latimer in the general election in November.
Likely Latimer will lose the election to a Republican because of poor Democrat turnout. This is irrelevant to AIPAC however, since they have also bought the Republican candidate.
