In my view Helen4, the sin here lies in the gross failure to honour the commitment to safeguarding the civil and religious rights of all the inhabitants of Palestine, irrespective of race and religion.
In the present light and circumstance – I sincerely appreciate the depth of doubt you have, that any of the “promised due” to Palestine’s kindred will ever be forthcoming. However “history” has a near-eternal memory . . . and “lawful promise” does not die.
