My “bravo” is for Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Penny Wong . . . who struggles today to rehabilitate our national reputation, after now close to 80 years of behaviour as ‘a deputies deputy’ to a wayward and pugilistic US of A. And . . . on the US side, to that rare democrat’s Democrat Bernie Sanders . . . who long ago and near-single-handedly grew to appreciate that “democracy” and ‘political legitimacy’ have long been first cousins.
