Or the supreme court Judge, which the head of state, had reached or become in a dispute with.
Or a Supreme Court Judge, which is leading and protecting, the independence of a judiciary, from Government overreach and interference by the heads of the state, in some high profile cases.
This is what corrupt authoritarian regimes do!
They declare a lack of trust and possible illoyal actions, of a popular investigator, high ranking official, with close ties to the inner circle of the Leadership, with knowledge about secret memo’s, briefings and security clearances, to get and obtain the data and information of highest secrecy and therefore are an possible risk, a thread for a government leadership, if some irregularities, wrongdoings and dark political decision-making, happened.
