Like Israel, the US will try to deny that Eisenhower sustained any hits. When asked, a US official said they “were not aware that the Eisenhower was hit”. Not that the Eisenhower WASN’T hit, just that they were not AWARE of it being hit. Word play and word games to obfuscate the truth. However, I expect the truth to trickle out in next week or two.
