Why attack the aircraft carrier when they can just borrow some hypersonic missiles from Iran and sink the aircraft carrier completely? US aircraft carriers have no defense to hypersonic missiles except filling the air with F-35’s and sacrificing both the aircraft and the pilot by hoping the aircraft acts as a shield and gets hit….and even that isn’t certain. Iran can’t fire them directly because US aircraft carriers know to stay at least 870 miles away to stay out of range…but Iran can donate some of them to the Houthis who are close enough to use them.
