When x and y fight, the guy with the bigger stick is going to win. That’s how the world works. The only time that formula is different is if you can get the guy with the bigger stick to be empathetic to your situation.. What Palestinians actually need to do is stop supporting militant leaders . This means pick leaders that oppose fighting (see non-resistance movement of Gandhi). Pick leaders that speak out against antisemitism rather than encourage it. Pick leaders that publicly support negotiating a two state solution. Pick leaders that aren’t religious fanatics. Pick leaders that support democracy.
What you have been doing for the last few decades does not work. Look at Gaza. You are almost out of chances. Change your approach already. Jews are not the monsters you make them out to be. They just have no patience for anyone that tries to erase them especially after the Holocaust. They want a homeland. They got it. And the are going to keep it. The issue now is if Palestinians want a homeland to co-exist peacefully next door or not.
If Palestinians did the above… I mean not just one or two but all of you…. imagine how both peoples could turn around all this hate and destruction into something really special. Imagine a Palestinian state having close trade relations with friends in Israel. Imagine Palestinians leveraging Jewish know-how and becoming the high tech capital of the Arab world. Imagine a Palestine leading the way in democracy among Arab countries.
And imagine the global outpouring of love and respect for Israel for such supporting such a magnanimous cause after this war ends.
