Protect an alternative moderate Palestinian government is exactly what Israel needs to do if they want to completely deligitimize Hamas. (just like the Americans did in Iraq but stupidly didn’t do in Afghanistan with predictable results) And not only protect those moderate Palestinians but provide medical help, food for their children (and all very publicly).
