Israel knows the 40 day ceasefire is a non-starter. Genocide Joe knows that too. Bibi and the hard right implicitly enacted the Hannibal directive on Oct 7th, meaning they will sacrifice the hostages to justify continuing the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their native lands.
The Rafah invasion will go forward, burying Genocide Joe’s election chances once and for all. He just doesn’t care. He’s knows he’s hemorrhaging votes from young voters, Muslim and Arab American, and ironically Irish Americans. It’s over for him.
The future after that is still unwritten. But Israel will never be the same and will be less secure then ever in their short history of existence.
