UNRWA and the UN’s Fourth Geneva Convention have long continued to remind the world of the unfinished business associated with UN Resolution 186.
‘Israel’ understandably and constantly argues that the 2:1 demographic advantage that ‘Palestine’ holds, constitutes no more than ‘petty nuisance’. That this is a self-serving ploy, is plain. For UNRWA has served as Palestine’s sole faithful ally-for-peace, for now more than 75 years – and without UNRWA, ‘this, Israel’s deception’ will be emboldened.
Palestine: besieged, dismissed and vilified
her people look to law and to the promise to all nations
That have faced such trial before.
And hence the voice Algeria and Africa are one
in that – all Nakba is an evil
One – the Law must see undone
