If I was Haniyeh, I’d accept the deal…as long as it was arranged with a Rabin and Arafat style handshake to complete the deal.
Naturally, first I’d make sure my hand was covered in the worst biological weapons grade pathogen that the world had ever seen…then I’d smile and wish him a good flight back to his family.
After what “Israel” has done…peace is neither possible or desirable as long as “Israel” exists. The only real question is whether or not the entire world’s population is an acceptable level of collateral damage if that is what it takes to eliminate them. Verdict is still out on that one.
