Judea was a small part of Palaistiné. It was a recent concoction and merely an offshoot of Canaanites religion. Yahweh was one of many Gods. It was Palaistiné before the Bible was concocted. One regional leader had banned other gods. Wow!
And, the area latter embraced Christianity and then Islam – the descendants of those fruitcakes! Double wow!
