How do you say ‘Abu’ in Yiddish? How many Jews speak Yiddish today? What do they speak? Hebrew, that they had to go to night school to learn how to speak it? Before arriving in Palestine, no Jews knew how to speak Hebrew, none. The European Jews making Hebrew their language would be equivalent to Chinese Muslims learning Arabic and making it their official language! But they would never do that because they are proud of their own Chinese heritage including the Chinese language. But the European Jews are ashamed about everything that is Ashkenazi including the language of Yiddish, their Ashkenazi cuisines, their Ashkenazi names, their Ashkenazi European faces.
