Perhaps the answer is some kind of mutual agreement, that would be the easiest way. The Palestinians however want everything and will agree to nothing, so that is where it stands today. The Palestinians have no chance to defeat Israel, that is a given, so perhaps having a piece of the pie is better than none. At the rate they are going, the Palestinians will destroy themselves in short order.
