Re: Saudi's foreign minister: No normal Israel ties without path to Palestinian state

Mr Baroody representing Saudi Arabia at the United Nations 1973

The ethnological argument is that political Zionism is an alien ideology that was introduced in our midst: it is none other than a Central European and Eastern European incursion into our midst. The late Herzl and the torch-bearers of Zionism were of Khazar origin, not of our area; they came from the northern tier of Asia, and they were converted to Judaism in the eighth century A.D. But just as the British were converted to Christianity, a Semitic religion, by St. Augustine in the sixth century does not make the British a Semitic people, so those Central European Jews-those Khazars, those Ashkenazim-are not Semites.
