With too much freedom comes too much opportunity for bad people to do what just happened. It is not as shocking as it once would have been, but today, in every major city, people are shot for whatever reason. I don’t know anything about the man who shot Trump, but I am sure his entire cultural heritage is not responsible.

In 1968, I got to shake Bobby Kennedy’s hand as he was slowly driven down the street in an open convertible and reached out to the crowds who gathered around while he was campaigning for President. Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed the next day at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles by Sirhan Sirhan a Palestinian.
