It is a controversial suggestion, as no one else has stepped up with a viable counter offer. Where do you want 1.5 million men, women, and children to sleep, eat, wash, go to school, and keep warm during the many years it will take to re-build Gaza with all brand new building materials– in that rubble? It will take years just to clear aways all the toxic rubble.
It has been 18 months since the Maui wildfires, only 3 homes have been rebuilt, and that’s in the USA. Think how much bigger the project to rebuild Gaza will be, and who is going to pay for it, who will get the contracts, who will oversee many years of rebuilding, while one and half million people are displaced, thanks to Hamas and their methods???
