Re: Turkiye dispatched 40,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza so far: President Erdogan

During the First Roman-Jewish War, form 66 to 73CE, General Titus besieged Jerusalem. It took five months, to overwhelm the defenders and burn down the city. Many killed and many enslaved. The destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Jewish Temple was an historical for the Jews. Their loss of the mother-city and the temple was a turning point in Jewish history and its culture. The start of Rabbinic Judaism developed and slowly became mainstream. Later the Romans founded the colony of Aelia Capitolina upon its ruins of Jerusalem, into which the Romans imported foreign cults and Jews were forbidden entry.
