I can do one better than your personal ancillary evidence.. The “human rights” NGOs claim Israel is a racist state. They write sundry reports claiming this. Unfortunately many believe because NGOS say the words ‘human rights” this magically inoculates them from having prejudices or showing poor moral judgement on a given issue. I know from first hand experience so-called ‘human rights” NGOSs have lots of bigots themselves. I’m Greek, All the self-proclaimed “human rights” defenders mocking Greeks for refusing to recognize the former Yugoslavians as “ethnic” Macedonians. We warned in good faith they would abuse history and the name to promote irredentism.. And lo and behold all the same “human rights defenders” today (along with many others), unethically and patronizingly play stupid as half of the former Yugoslavians now claim not be Slavs but apparently antihellenic founders of the Hellenistic period. They use that claim to promote what they call “United Macedonia” which they insist includes 1/4 of Greece. This identity quick change isn’t hard to notice. The irredentism isn’t that difficult to see. Crickets of condemnation from the “human rights defenders”.
Then there is the issue of mass illegal migration which the “human rights defenders” have been supporting. It’s common sense if we don’t limit the numbers Greece would cease to be a Greek state. The “human rights defenders” act like its only a conspiracy theory concern.. In other words, they are knowingly trying to erase not only our homeland but our very identity. A subtle attempted genocide… but framed as “human rights”.
So tell me how can I trust the same bigoted patronizing liars that consciously engaged in ethnic engineering as a sly method to harass Greeks by proxy? What source do I use to judge when the supposed experts on “Human rights” are bigots themselves? I can tell by their antisemetic rhetoric and murder tourism that Hamas supporters are aren’t exactly moderates but most of the “human rights defenders” don’t seem too interested in that. I ask myself is Israel being smeared by bigots like Greece was smeared? I’m not saying there are no fanatics in Israel whatsoever but I’ve come to believe it is exaggerated. Other than tiny minority among Jewish leftists, most Jews want a homeland. I see nothing unfair in that as that is what Palestinians and others want too.. My main criticism of Israel is a segment of Jews don’t want to give Palestinians that same courtesy. Hamas are extreme but not an existential threat to Israel given it’s overwhelming firepower advantage.. Palestinians need a place to live in peace to. they also have to help themselves too though by not supporting extremists like Hamas. Otherwise the conflict will boil down to whomever has the bigger stick.
