Why not say they are all fake bs or all made made? I could be wrong but it still seems you are trying to make a distinction based on your personal circumstance and thus playing Pascal’s wager.
Let me qualify further. When it comes to their mystical claims, Christianity, (religious) Judaism, and Islam are al equally myth based or fake bs as you put it (ditto for belief in Ra, Brahma, et al) This doesn’t mean that everyone that practices these religions is a terrible person or an extremist. Or that non-believers are necessarily better people. Communists tend to be atheists. During the cold war they committed countless atrocities. Atheists like Stalin and Mao are responsible or the deaths of more of their own citizens than Jews died in the Holocaust..
Not everything these religions say in terms of moral principles is necessarily wrong. Don’t murder is a good one. Ditto for don’t steal. Now peddling superstitious myths of Adam and Eve at the expense of hard fought knowledge of evolution.. an attack on science. Or oppressing the freedoms of homosexuals and women.. morally wrong., Advocating theocratic rule over democracy… a call for tyranny.
People are the sum of their character. They are not just the things they do wrong but the things they do right too. I have known wonderful practicing Jews, Muslims and Christians even if a few things they believe are loopy. I have no doubt believed stupid things in my life too. Too err is human as they say..
